Hi, my name is Hani and I am a writer, researcher, curator and educator currently at the edge of a long list of disciplines, practices and interests. I enjoy exploring momentary tangents, as well as delving into details of systems and infrastructures to understand the complexity that situates them. I also enjoy bridging the gaps between these contexts, establishing new connections as I go.
This website, a live and frequently updated portfolio, attempts to give a bit of a flavour of who I am and what I’m up to.

He has helped steer the vision and mission of the organization to enrich the public life of cities through culture. He always has insightful ideas to contribute and has helped us develop the main pillars of the charity's output including public programming, education and outreach, publishing, and urban research. " In 2022 we invited Hani to work with us on the first UK edition of School for Designing Society at House of Annetta (HoA). Hani was an exceptional leader and collaborator for the project, balancing archival material and a careful attention to theoretical histories on one hand, with the capacity to facilitate open space for new thinking on the other. Working together we convened a short educational experiment to explore ideas for society based on desire. Hani later compiled a report cataloguing the process and reflections, a section of which was published in our HoA end of year review 2022."

“Hani was an instrumental collaborator in supporting the My Place pilot in Finsbury Park from start to finish. He continues to champion the role of young people in regeneration processes as an advisory board member. Footwork is grateful for Hani's ingenuity, openness and curiosity both with My Place and as an Insights Group member to the charity; by bringing a unique insight into local social innovation through the lens of health, wellbeing & community agency.”
